in the restorative arts and sciences for the planet. 

ISS is dedicated to identifying and integrating some of the best practices of the practical visionaries of the green movement and holistic global health in educational and community development programs and policy forums. 

ISS grew out of the ZERI USA Foundation created in Aspen, Colorado in 2001, to bring the work of Gunter Pauli’s ZERI (Zero Emissions Research and Initiatives) to the United States and other “practical” visionaries. We have always had an interest in research for more advanced sustainable methodologies and practices.  We need better Business and educational models for making the best and highest use of our natural resources and people power.

SS has a tradition of working with Indigenous wisdom of many of the tribes from around the world.  From Tibet, Bali, India and Afghanistan to the Lakota, Hopi and Utes, we honor the traditions and wisdom of the Elders.  We have worked with the World Council of Elders to try and preserve their heritage and gifts to the world that are so very much needed at this point in our history. 

We are committed to creating a mission quest for thought leaders and wisdom leaders to collaborate on solutions for the planet set in the context of traditional values to heal mother earth and empower our children.
